Full-loop DTC growth

Run growth as one commercial system.

Acquisition, conversion, and retention share one scoreboard, one operating cadence, and one reason to spend the next dollar.

ScoreboardBusiness contribution

One system. No channel theater.

A platform can look healthy while the business loses money.

We read acquisition cost beside conversion, margin, inventory, fulfillment, and repeat purchase. Then we concentrate the work on the constraint that is actually limiting profitable growth.

The operating jobs

One team, three connected responsibilities.

The handoff between the first click, first order, and next order is where growth usually leaks.

Acquire

Find customers who can become profitable

Paid social and search, creative testing, audience strategy, attribution, and budget allocation.

Convert

Turn qualified intent into a first order

Offer, merchandising, product-page, landing-page, and checkout decisions treated as part of media performance.

Retain

Make the first order the start

Klaviyo lifecycle strategy, customer segmentation, launch communication, and repeat-purchase development.

The cadence

A monthly loop that keeps decisions current.

The work changes with the numbers. The operating rhythm does not.

  1. Read

    Find the commercial constraint

Review channel, conversion, customer, margin, inventory, and lifecycle signals together.

  2. Decide

    Prioritize the highest-leverage work

Choose the creative, audience, offer, page, or lifecycle move most likely to improve contribution.

  3. Run

    Launch the work

Coordinate media, creative, storefront, tracking, and lifecycle execution around the same hypothesis.

  4. Reinvest

Put the next dollar behind evidence

Scale, revise, or stop based on the commercial response—not a platform narrative.

The scoreboard

Contribution first. Platform metrics in context.

ROAS, CPA, CTR, and CPM help diagnose performance. They do not decide whether the business can afford to scale.

01

Acquisition

CAC, new-customer contribution, payback, channel mix

02

Conversion

Conversion rate, AOV, offer response, checkout loss

03

Retention

Repeat purchase, lifecycle revenue, cohort behavior

04

Business

Margin, inventory, fulfillment, cash available to reinvest

Fit

The Growth System needs a product with something real to build on.

Good starting point
  • You sell a physical product through an active DTC store.
  • One or more products have validated customer demand.
  • You have usable margin, inventory, and customer data.
  • You can support ongoing media, creative, and site changes.
  • You want acquisition and retention decisions connected.
Start elsewhere
  • You still need to prove demand for the first product.
  • Inventory or fulfillment cannot support growth.
  • There is no budget for sustained testing.
  • You only want isolated channel execution.
  • You need a guaranteed revenue outcome.

Questions

Before we run the full loop.

Is the Growth System a retainer?

It is an ongoing operating engagement, but not a fixed list of agency tasks. The priority changes as the commercial constraint changes. The scoreboard and decision cadence stay consistent.

Do I have to complete a Demand Sprint first?

No. The Sprint is for products with unproven paid demand. Brands with validated products, usable data, and an active acquisition program can enter the Growth System directly.

Is media spend included?

No. Advertising spend remains in your accounts and is paid directly to the platforms. The operating fee is set against the contribution at stake in the business, not against a task list.

Who does the work?

WZD Labs is founder-led. Prince Ampong remains close to strategy, analysis, and operating decisions, with specialist support added only where the scope requires it.
